User offended by the DA's use of a "pest control" label in an online election campaigning advert.

Background & Outcome

Nothing precludes the DA or any other political party from mislabelling their adverts online for purposes of reaching a specific audience. A quick review of the Electoral Code of Conduct reveals that the DA's conduct is not prohibited. It is also difficult to see any harm that can be caused by what is plainly electioneering ingenuity.
